The PADI Open Water Diver Course takes you through the adventure of learning to dive. If you think you’re in for a lot of classroom work, forget it. After a short briefing you can actually begin with your first pool dive and then straight in to the ocean, utilizing independent study and PADI’s latest teaching aids will keep classroom time to a minimum. What scuba gear will you use?

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.
